Tata Power-DDL is dedicated to supporting Ramleela, Durga Puja, and other festive events by providing temporary connections within 24 hours. While the discom is committed to offering tatkal connections during the festive season, the safety of people in mass gatherings remains of utmost priority. Tata Power-DDL’s operations and maintenance teams would remain on high alert to handle any safety-related issues that may arise during this time.

Additionally, consumers are advised to take due precautions with their wiring and avoid any loose connections, as these can lead to accidents. It is also crucial to install an ELCB (Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker)/RCCB to protect both people and equipment from electrical shocks and fires by detecting and stopping electrical currents that leak to the ground.

Mass awareness is being created through the Customer Care Centres and other customer touch points for use of ELCB/RCCB at homes and temporary structures/wiring to reduce risks of electrocution and fire caused by faults.

School children and RWA members are engaged through online and offline modes on various aspects of electrical and fire safety.

In the run-up to the festival season, Tata Power-DDL’s Operations and Maintenance teams are on constant vigil to take care of any safety-related contingencies. Consumers can report any unsafe situation or untoward incident on company’s dedicated 24x7 toll-free helpline number 19124.
